Impressions of the Landscape
Finding Inspiration
"I think any professional photographer could have helped me master my camera, wean me off its automatic functions. But Gill is an artist who just happens to work in the photographic medium and I am grateful for her generosity in not only sorting me out technically, but also sharing her creative process, her aesthetic, particularly her enchantment with light. She's a great teacher: great fun to work with."

My Approach
What I enjoy about landscape photography is not the the representation of reality as such. We all know Suffolk is a beautiful, subtle gentle landscape with hues that touch the soul. However, my interest is in transposing something of my emotional response onto each place I visit to create a unique view.

I work entirely in-camera using the the breadth of possibility that the Exposure Triangle has to offer combined with imagination and skill. It is this approach that I would like to teach you.
