Over twenty five years I have explored transferring photographs onto different surfaces to give each image a new context. I used a darkroom technique that employed a light sensitive liquid photographic emulsion (view Archive below) however this came with constraints. Due to a change of circumstance I moved onto digital photography and stumbled upon a process that mimicked my previous experiments and I most successfully used this in 2018 to create a portrait series titled Refugee Stories on OSB board (below) - I have developed this over time and with the support of The Arts Council 'Develop Your Creative Practice' Fund and Epson UK, I am able to produce monochrome and colour photographs intrinsically bonded to interior and exterior surfaces (below).
