Close to Home

 

This project began as a bit of escapism during lock-down; and since then has become my primary photographic portfolio. This gallery does not seek to depict specific identifiable places but offer a very personal view of familiar scenes in rural Suffolk. Many of the pictures in this gallery are taken just a stone's throw from my back gate while some are a little further afield. I have an intuitive interest in personifying nature and transposing my thoughts and emotions onto each subject, particularly trees, hedgerows and sometimes the sea.
