Feeling Complete

The piece took far longer to make that I first anticipated. As a substrate Victorian brick differs quite a lot from concrete so it reacted differently to the bonding process. Also, my idea of wrapping the image around the brick to give a more 3d experience of the image took a little while to get right.

BUT all that said, I am really pleased with the outcome - it needs to be seen and touched to be believed - I can see so many possibilities for developing this idea both in terms of imagery and scale as a type of landscape 'jigsaw' that can express narratives about time and place.
