A NEW PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
I m p r e s s i o n s o f t h e L a n d s c a p e
Introduction
My own landscape photography attempts to covey an emotional response to the landscape rather than pinpoint place. I have taught this stye of photography successfully to many people from school age as a qualified teacher to adults across Suffolk. I am offering a complete seven week course to teach four photographers some new and inspiring approaches to both landscape photography and editing. It will be an adventure!
This course takes place online, 1-2-1, a group critique, leading to weekend exhibition. It is open to photographers who have a good working knowledge of manual camera settings and a keen interest in the landscape and of course a desire to try something out of the ordinary and have must have a level of fitness although the walks will be quite easy. The course covers:
-
Developing your approach by looking at the landscape through experimental technique
-
Considering time of day and light, including ideas to help you work in challenging weather
-
Introducing props in the landscape to create surreal visual narratives
-
Using editing to further advance your creative ideas and find your voice in Suffolk's rural landscape
